Technological Socialism

TECHNOSOCIALISM
Reflections of an upcoming human revolution

Techno-socialism starts from a basic idea of classic socialism; that is, the use of resources in community for the sole purpose of making human survival a mutual interest.

The substantial difference lies in the use of robots, authentic mechatronic servants, programmed to make human work in society obsolete; this predictably will inevitably lead (through a ten-year social transformation) to the cessation of the capitalist system understood as exploitation of workers as we know it today; that is, for the production of goods that have the sole purpose of consumption and for the production of share dividends in the financial market.

It is expected that this revolution will not be completely painless, since, as history teaches, the branches of power will be reluctant to let man free himself completely, but as the technology used in the bosses' factories will always be more sophisticated and therefore also accessible to less well-off pockets, we will have a transformation. In fact it is presumable that such robotic automatic machines will from time to time be purchased by ordinary human beings to produce and collect the needs that the daily requirement imposes (food, water and shelter); it is presumable to think that after a few decades these robots will be highly versatile, able to build desired products with raw material, search and collect food, cultivate the land by driving agricultural machinery, and build houses from simple projects, making survival free for all and consequently the current economic system no longer based on the exploitation of labor for consumption but only useful for survival.

The telecommunication system used by both robots and future telecommunications (including energy transport) will also be used in a social way, ie the revenue from the calculation service for data processing will be divided according to the amount of power made available by the various members who will make their technological systems available; the robots themselves will produce information and act on the web helping to study new forms of intelligent technology.

It is foreseeable that this generic change of society will take place essentially through four fundamental phases:
1 - As the level of the robots will be more and more sophisticated and versatile, granting the factories of versatility on production machines almost equal to the human ones, a strong market deflation will be created caused by the peak of unemployment deriving from the use of these robot.

2 - Slowly, even the price of robots will fall inexorably, it is likely that companies involved in the rental of these technologies will come into play, which can then be exploited by former workers in order to make their robots work in factories in their place, ensuring however a salary; we will have masses no more than employees, but companies dedicated to the use of robots for third parties, now used as servants.

3 - Many people will find a viable alternative in rural life, robots will be used as a service; hopefully there will be a shift of humanity from the consumerist view to the old essence of rural life; Men will return to popularizing the countryside, and robots will be used to fulfill the labors of food production.

4 - In this last phase the factories will serve only to produce welfare and social utility (space exploration, research, etc) through the use of robots. They will most likely be public and owned by citizens, in fact work and consumerism connected to them will have ceased to be the main source of development of powers today dedicated to greed and dominance and raid.
